Hill Fort Capital Partners Limited is an independently owned Investment Manager that is focused exclusively on publicly traded equities across the Indian subcontinent. We believe in the power of being fully invested in a concentrated portfolio of high return businesses, and subsequently have a “one fund firm”. We complement our long-term investment focus with a fee structure that seeks like-minded, long-term oriented clients.
What we do
We specialise in identifying high growth Indian companies, which we believe can grow substantially while continuing to generate high ROCE’s. These businesses tend to have low fixed asset requirements and enjoy excellent working capital terms. We aim to fully exploit this opportunity by not actively trading our portfolio; resulting in much lower “hidden costs” of investing versus comparable equity funds.

GREAT BUSINESSES
We invest in resilient companies with durable “moats”. Their competitive advantage comes often, but not exclusively, from years of investing in nationwide distribution and branding. As a testimony to their resilience, the average age of companies we favour is over 70 years.
PAY
FAIR PRICES
We are not interested in buying average or poor businesses at low valuations. We believe great companies can be purchased at reasonable multiples of cash flow. Sometimes we get lucky and can buy great businesses at low prices, but this is the exception.
STAY
FOCUSED
We have a single-minded focus on one approach, and we believe that risk can be reduced by focusing on a small number of investments. Simplicity, focus and an attention to detail have served us well.
