Tej Gujadhur is a UK qualified chartered accountant and he has spent 30 years in the financial sector in Europe, USA, London and Mauritius. He spent over 15 years in the financial advisory, private equity and hedge fund industries in London, Dublin and New York and over 14 years in the financial sector in Mauritius whilst maintaining an active advisory and investment committee roles in London and India in parallel. Tej is currently an independent director where he serves several asset managers as a board director in Europe, Cayman Islands and India with combined AUM in excess of $50bn. He has been the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of The Children’s Investment Fund and its affiliates, with assets in excess of $15 billion and the CFO of Apollo Management’s European distressed and principal finance business (NYSE: APO). He co-founded GFin Corporate Services Ltd. (“GFin”) which was acquired by Apex Group in 2021. Tej completed the integration and left Apex in 2023 to set up GCap (in 2024) as a global boutique advisory firm based in Mauritius.
